Start Building Routines At An Early Age

Most young children seem to thrive in a structured environment. Daycares have to provide a structured environment to avoid behavioral and learning issues. If a child has never been exposed to a daily routine, they will not do well at first in a new daycare. Rather than putting your child at a disadvantage, you need to implement routines into their life early on.
If your child gets up, has breakfast and gets dressed every morning like clockwork, you can make the transition into a daycare environment much easier. You also need to make sure your child has a reasonable bedtime. By establishing a bedtime, you allow your child the chance to get the rest they need to thrive in daycare.
